ALISON MCINDOE
Principal

It’s my passion to help people to make the most out of where they live/work/play and I take that passion very seriously. I strive to create spaces that are classic and timeless and reflect my clients' personality.

Growing up in small town Pennsylvania, my parent's store, McIndoe's, was an extension of our family. We lived it and breathed it! It must have sparked my entrepreneurial spirit, which I seemed to have carried with me my entire life. My earliest design memories stem back to cherished visits from my aunt and uncle. As they labored over the swatches and floor plans with each home renovation, I sat captivated, absorbing every detail. It was then that my passion for design began. I have been cultivating it ever since!

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, I worked numerous jobs in the design and building industry before venturing out on my own. I launched A.K. Interiors in 1996, and most recently opened a boutique home furnishings shoppe in 2015.

I love what I do and get excited over the silliest things, like finding the perfect vintage purse to be framed for a women’s restroom! I believe that creating beautiful spaces is all about the details and fulfilling my clients’ dreams.

ANGIE STOUDT
Senior Designer & Project Manager

I always knew I wanted to do something within the arts. I spent many hours as a child watching the delicate details produced by my father's hands while he worked diligently on taxidermy. Realizing I enjoyed drawing and painting at a young age, my mother enrolled me in art classes.  After much debate as to my art focus, I choose to dedicate my studies to interior design. I studied at Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts and secured a position prior to graduation with a local designer tile showroom. In 2007, I joined AK Interiors. I've enjoyed learning the many extensions of interior design over the past years.  It's gratifying to see the excitement of our clients as their spaces unfold to, in most case, surpass their expectations.
